§ 50-122. Review.

  • (a)

    Five Mylar copies and three paper prints of the final subdivision plat shall be filed by the proprietor with the clerk, and the proprietor shall deposit such sums of money as the City Council shall from time to time establish by ordinance or resolution.

    (b)

    The final plat shall be reviewed by the City Engineer as to compliance with the approved preliminary plat and plans for utilities and other improvements.

    (c)

    The City Engineer shall notify the City Council of his recommendation for either approval or rejection of the final plat.

    (d)

    The City Council shall review all recommendations and take action on the final plat within 20 days of its date of filing.

    (e)

    Upon the approval of the final plat by the City Council, the subsequent approvals shall follow the procedure set forth in the land division act (MCL 560.101 et seq., MSA 26.430(101) et seq.). The three prints of the final plat shall be forwarded; one to the clerk, one to the Planning Commission, and one to the building department. The five Mylar copies shall be forwarded to the clerk of the county plat board.
