§ 34-167. Obedience to orders of members of police department, fire department or recreation department.

  • (a)

    No person shall knowingly fail to obey the lawful order of any member of the police force or fire department.

    (b)

    No person shall willfully fail to obey the command of any law enforcement officer to stop or halt, provided that any such officer identifies himself as a law enforcement officer and provides or offers to provide identification as such and provided that a law enforcement officer is attempting to apprehend such person for a violation of any city, state or federal law.

    (c)

    No person shall willfully fail to obey the command of any law enforcement officer or other authorized representative of the city recreation department who, having just cause, including but not limited to violation of established rules and regulations, orders such person to leave a public park, playground, boulevard, swimming pool or recreation area.
