§ 1-8. Aiding or abetting violations.

No person shall cause, secure, aide, abet, counsel, procure, command or assist in a violation of this Code. In this section the phrase "violation of this Code" has the meaning assigned to it in subsection 1-7(f) of this Code. A person violating this section shall be subject to punishment as if the person had directly committed a violation of the Code, and such a violation shall be a municipal civil infraction or a misdemeanor, as appropriate.
